Los Alamos County Little League 8-10 Year Olds Play Espanola For District 1 Title

The Los Alamos Little League Allstars ages 8, 9 and 10 played the Espanola Allstars for the District 1 title this past Wednesday evening on the Lou Caveglia Field at the North Mesa Sports Complex. The lead changed many times and at the end of regulation play, 6 innings, the score was tied 10-10. This prompted two extra innings. In the 8th inning the Espanola team scored 8 runs to win the District title and a trip to the state playoffs to be played in Albuquerque July 12. After the game the teams posed for a red/green photo.
