Los Alamos County Ice Rink Opens Tuesday

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Ice Rink is scheduled to open Tuesday, Nov. 15. 

Opening Day begins with:

  • Adult – noon time skating 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.;
  • Public Skating – 1:30-3:30 p.m.;
  • Youth Stick & Puck – 3:45-5:15 p.m., and;
  • Youth Hockey Practices – 5:30-10:30 p.m.

Try “Ice Skating Lessons for FREE” day, Wednesday, Nov. 16. Everyone who comes down to try the lessons will receive FREE admission and skate rentals, a meet and greet with ice skating instructors and a mini skating lesson. Lessons are 1:30-2 p.m. for ages 10 and under and 2:15-2:45 p.m. for ages 11 to adult.

Until the Rink opens, passes and registration for ice skating lessons can be done at the Aquatic Center front desk, 505.662.8170 or online at www.losalamosnm.us/rec. The contact phone number for the Ice Rink is 505.662.4500.
