Los Alamos County Holiday Hours Of Operation

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County has announced the following closures / hours of operation during the Labor Day holiday:

Eco-Station

  • Eco Station will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day and reopen regular hours Tuesday, Sept. 8.
  • NO RECYCLING or TRASH PICK-UP Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day. Alternate Pick-up Day if affected: Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Recreation Facilities

  •  Golf Course will be open as usual Monday, Sept. 7.
  • Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 for scheduled maintenance and observance of Labor Day and reopen regular hours Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Library 

  • Mesa Public and White Rock Branch Libraries are closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day and will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Transportation

  • Atomic City Transit will not be running fixed-route or Dial-a-Ride service Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day.
  • The Bandelier Shuttle will run its regular 20-minute weekend schedule.

Other Facilities

  •  All other County Facilities are closed Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day.  This includes Municipal and Magistrate Court.

  • For police dispatch services, always call 505.662.8222. In case of emergency, dial 911.
