Los Alamos County Assessor’s Office Open For Business

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Assessor’s Office is now open for in-person business as part of taking the next steps in exiting the pandemic emergency.

This is in alignment with the directives issued from the Governor’s Office and Los Alamos County.

The Assessor’s Office will continue to adhere to COVID Safe Practices (CSP) and will require the use of face masks, six feet or more of social distancing, plexiglass at public facing counters, and limiting the number of people in the lobby area.

Residents are highly encouraged to stay safe by conducting business remotely via computer or phone whenever possible and limiting in-person business to urgent matters. Customers also may continue to drop off items in the designated Drop-Box located outside the Assessor’s Office.

The Assessor’s Office offers a variety of web-based forms and services, in addition to an online citizen portal (Eagle Web) that provides customers access to a vast amount of publicly available property data, including current ownership, tax and assessment history, and a variety of other property characteristics.

For more information and access to the Eagle Web Portal, visit the Assessor’s website at losalamosnm.us/government/elected_officials/assessor.
