LOS ALAMOS MAKERS News:

When touring the local makerspace, Rachel Kizielewicz noticed a wooden sculpture that grabbed her attention. Kizielewicz immediately asked about the sculpture and its story. She then asked for a price. The local artist and Los Alamos Makers member agreed to sell his art, created in the makerspace’s wood shop.

Kizielewicz mentioned her wish to display the art at the Los Alamos Community Foundation office, generously provided by Los Alamos National Bank.

Los Alamos Makers members are often encouraged to display their craft to showcase what makers make and as a source of inspiration for visitors, a Los Alamos Makers spokesperson said.

Los Alamos Makers is at 3540 Orange St., Suite LV1, behind Los Alamos High School. Visit Los Alamos Makers online at LosAlamosMakers.org.
