Los Alamos Commerce And Development Corporation Comments On Proposed State Science Standards

LACDC News: 

The Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) Board of Directors commented about the proposed new State Science Standards.

The LACDC is concerned that if adopted as proposed, the standards will have a negative effect on the Los Alamos economy, as well as the state economy. For additional comments, contact LACDC Executive Director Patrick Sullivan at Patrick@losalamos.org or 505.661.4854.

The LACDC Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the Los Alamos community and functions to direct the company in its initiative to promote sustainable economic progress in Los Alamos and the region. Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation is a private, not-for-profit economic and community development organization, which has served the Los Alamos area since 1983. LACDC serves as the umbrella organization for the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce, Los Alamos MainStreet, Discover Los Alamos, Los Alamos Small Business Center, projectY cowork Los Alamos, Los Alamos Creative District and the Los Alamos Research Park.
