LACDC With Chamber And MainStreet Support, Continue Hosting Zoom Check-Ins For Local Businesses

BUSINESS News:

Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) and its programs, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce and Los Alamos MainStreet, are continuing to host check-in calls for local businesses amid the current COVID-19 closures and restrictions.

Any business owner or operator in Los Alamos County is welcome to join these discussions.

LACDC staff will answer questions and explain some of the state and federal aid options available at this time.

In addition to a noon webinar Friday, April 3, next week will include a series of four sessions on the following dates and times:

A Business Status list, available on the LACDC, Chamber and MainStreet websites, also highlights current business hours and operations, as well as gift card availability. The list is evolving as businesses update operations and procedures. Updates or missing information may be sent to the Chamber (ryn@losalamos.org) or MainStreet (lauren@losalamos.org).

LACDC, via the Chamber, also recently set up an account at Enterprise Bank & Trust to help the seven Los Alamos businesses that were recently vandalized. With the COVID-19 restrictions in place, these businesses face additional financial challenges with insurance deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses for repairs. The account is open for donations until 5 p.m. April 13. Reference “LA Small Business Support Fund” when making a donation.
