Register online today – Chamber Breakfast May 21 – Payment Technologies
Merchants, restaurants, hotels, home-based businesses, and professionals alike will want to attend this Chamber Breakfast as we discuss the latest Payment Technologies with Gingergaye Hollowell, author of Secrets of Credit Card Processing Fees Revealed.

In addition to talking about technologies such as Paypal,  Apple Pay and Square, Hollowell will discuss the EMV Chip deadline coming up in October and what it means for merchants who rely on magnetic strip technology. Hollowell will have a special message dedicated to restaurants. Breakfast is catered by Ruby K’s. The Chamber Breakfast is held at the UNM-LA Campus, Building 2, Room 230, 4000 University Dr. Tickets are $15. Chamberfest is June 13
ChamberFest is the annual Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce event featuring Chamber Members. At this event, businesses and nonprofits alike showcase their products and services for the public. Entertainment will include a band stage (Eddy & the Nomads!), a car show, pet activity area, kids activity area with the LANB sand pile, and a special showdown at high noon you just have to see to believe.

This year booths will be concentrated in and around Central Park Square, MainStreet and Central Ave in themed areas – including a nonprofit fundraising cakewalk area, entrepreneurial startup demo area, sunrise coffee area, alternative health/mediation & exercise area, wine & beer garden, and business category areas

  • Non-profit booths are $25;
  • Regular Booths are $50;
  • Additional fees for table and chair rental; and
  • Food vendors are $50 for Chamberfest.

  • National Park Service & Dept. of the Interior Site Planning Trip to Los Alamos for new Manhattan Project National Historical Park – June 2 through 4

The County will host a welcome reception on the first evening of their visit at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Fuller Lodge. They will have a full three days of touring the various sites and history of Los Alamos, and we want to “showcase” all that we offer and make them feel welcome here!   • Secretary of Tourism trip to Los Alamos June 11-12

The New Mexico Cabinet Secretary of Tourism Rebecca Latham and her staff will be touring Los Alamos June 11 and 12 to experience the town’s amenities as a tourist would. This is an opportunity to put the town’s best foot forward. The Chamber is looking for volunteers from the business community who wish to participate in a stakeholder meeting on tourism matters.
