MAINSTREET News:
The annual Los Alamos Fair and Rodeo is occurring this weekend. One of the highlights, the parade, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday on Central Avenue.
The 2021 theme is “On the Road Again”, with parade judges Councilor David Reagor, Los Alamos Public Schools Interim Superintendent Jennifer Guy and Nambe Drugs Pharmacist Melissa Roybal.
This year’s parade, organized by Los Alamos MainStreet and Los Alamos Creative District, is sponsored by Los Alamos County and Enterprise Bank & Trust.
Other fair and rodeo activities scheduled for later on Saturday include the Los Alamos County Fair at Ashley Pond Park, Arts and Crafts Fair at Fuller Lodge Lawn, exhibits at Mesa Public Library, the rodeo at Brewer Arena on North Mesa, a Cowboy Dinner and Dance, and more.
