The Arts Council invites the public to attend the Brown Bag performance of The Giachetti Piano Quartet noon Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Fuller Lodge.
The members of The Giachetti Piano Quartet are Cindy Little (Piano), Ari Le (Violin), Brian Newnam (Viola) and Shanalyn Kemme (Cello). The Giachetti Piano Quartet grew from the Trio de Los Alamos, which began in 2003. Cellist Shanalyn Kemme joined the Trio in 2007 and in 2017, violinist and violist Ari Le joined the group, changing Trio de Los Alamos into The Giachetti Piano Quartet.
The Brown Bag series is a free event, presented the first Wednesday of the month at Fuller Lodge. Members of the public are invited to bring their lunch and listen to a lovely group play for an hour. This month, The Giachetti Piano Quartet will play selections from Rachmaninoff, Bridge and Schumann.
