SPORTS News:

Los Alamos Aquatomics (LAA) Swim Team, celebrated the culmination of a highly successful long course swim season and the beginnings of a promising new short course season with a team picnic Sunday at Fuller Lodge.

Over 30 Los Alamos Aquatomics swimmers competed at the State Championships in July, with six swimmers bringing home State Champion Titles:

  • Allison Amrani;
  • Andy Corliss;
  • Alex Jaegers;
  • Ming Lo;
  • Owen McLaughlin; and
  • Beth Short.

All swimmers were congratulated for their hard work by their Head Coach, Olympian John Murphy. Beautiful weather, great BBQ from Bob’s Bodacious, and fun in the sun with teammates made for a wonderful afternoon!
