CYFD News:

As part of PullTogether’s Backpack Program, the American Legion Post 90 in Los Alamos donated 51 backpacks for foster children.

Often times children come into CYFD care without much of anything in the way of belongings so this is a way to give them something of their own. It also gives these children a bit of comfort during a traumatic time in their lives. These backpacks will be shipped to CYFD offices all over the state. Since PullTogether’s launch in May, it has received more than 200 backpacks statewide.
