Los Alamo Firefighters Rescue American Flag

When members of American Legion Post 90 on Trinity Drive attempted to lower their flags to half staff early Tuesday morning to honor the firefighters who lost their lives in Arizona, they discovered fierce winds had hooked one of the flags over the top of the pole. Los Alamos firefighters responded to the scene with a ladder truck, which Firefighter Robert Ortiz used to climb and unhook the flag. Photo by Leland Lehman/ladailypost.com
