J. Robert Oppenheimer, nicknamed Oppie, was the famous Manhattan Project Laboratory Director whose name and image has become synonymous with “Los Alamos and scientific genius.”

The 2018 Los Alamos ScienceFest (July 11-15) is packed with something for everyone, and the Oppie Look-Alike Contest takes place during the biggest day, which is Discovery Day, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, July 14, at Ashley Pond Park and Fuller Lodge Lawn.
