Lockdown Lifted At Los Alamos High School

LAPS News:

A domestic dispute in a neighborhood near Los Alamos High School around noon today led police to place the school in lockdown as a safety precaution.

A Los Alamos Public Schools spokesperson told the Los Alamos Daily Post that the LAHS Principal Brad Parker has been in communication with parents, teachers, staff and students.

LAPD Cmdr. Preston Ballew explained that the report of the domestic dispute was deemed to be unfounded and has evolved into a medical issue instead.

The lockdown has been lifted, everyone is safe and classes have resumed.
