Local Senior Centers Support Red Nose Day

LARSO News:

The Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization (LARSO) senior centers in Los Alamos and White Rock are supporting Red Nose Day.

Red Nose Day is a national campaign with the mission to end child poverty by funding programs that keep children safe, healthy and educated. Since its debut in 2015, the organization has raised $200 million and positively impacted more than 25 million children in America, and around the world.

This year, Red Nose Day is Thursday, May 21.

In the midst of what LARSO does for seniors, for one week it will be collecting food for local kids for Red Nose Day.

Donation boxes are placed at each senior center with the hope that funds will be collected to help lighten the load for community grandparents raising their grandchildren.

For information, call LARSO at 505.662.8920.
