Local School Zone Flashing Light Testing Aug. 14-15

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Department will be testing the school zone flashing lights in Los Alamos and White Rock Aug. 14-15 in preparation for the upcoming school year.

If you notice the flashing lights working during odd hours during this testing period, please do not call it in.

Please be cautious of the crews performing the tests.

School starts Thursday, Aug. 16. Please be mindful of the school zones. Slow down and proceed with caution. Let’s have a safe school year.
