projectY News:

Two local authors, Charlotte Cummings and Janice M. Lovato, gathered at projectY cowork Los Alamos Saturday, Feb. 18, to host a book reading event featuring their latest publications.

Cummings is author of the newly released “Frankenstein Teaches Yoga” and Lovato wrote “A Journey for Felix.” The event, which was free and open to the public, featured book readings by the authors, yoga demonstrations for kids, snacks, and art activities.

Both books are available on Amazon and the community also can obtain copies locally. Cummings’ book may be purchased at the Los Alamos History Museum and Lovato’s book is available at the Phillips 66 gas station in White Rock. Both will soon also be available at local library branches.

Cummings and Lovato plan to host additional events in the region in the coming months. For more information about the books, contact authorcharlottec@gmail.com.
