Local Democrats Gather To Support Small Business And Escort Council Candidate Chris Chandler To Vote

Early voting began at 8 a.m. today in Council Chambers at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building and a group of local Democrats and their supporters gathered to escort Council candidate Chris Chandler, center, to vote across the street at the Municipal Building. Marguerite McClay has owned Rose Chocolatier for more than two years at 991 Central Ave. Local Democratic Party Chair Robyn Schultz said the group gathered today at Rose Chocolatier near 9th Street and Central Avenue to show their support for small business owners while road construction is underway on Central. The group plans to gather each Tuesday in front of a different small business near the road construction project and escort a Democratic candidate to vote. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
