Lloyd Rodriguez Retires From Smith’s After 28 Years

Lloyd Rodriguez is retiring from Smith’s Marketplace Sunday after 28 years with the company. Rodriguez began working for Smith’s in White Rock in 1990, moved to Los Alamos and then to Taos as store director before returning to Los Alamos where he serves as dairy manager. While Rodriguez says he will really miss his customers, his colleagues say they will miss his calm demeanor, his warm personality and his incredible work ethic. His retirement plans include spending more time fishing and woodworking. He and his wife Pamela hope to visit their son Jared who is serving in the U.S. Navy in Rota, Spain.
