Lightning sparked a fire Wednesday in the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest:
- Alamo Fire: May 24
- Start Date: May 23
- Cause: Lightning
- Size: 15 acres
Location: Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest. Forest Road 289 near Bandelier Park.
Weather: Mostly sunny/winds 3-7, gusts to 10 mph.
Situation: Resources on scene include 3 engines and a 12-person hand crew, type 1 helicopter.
