Lightning Creates Quite A Show Over Los Alamos

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood watch for Los Alamos County and the Jemez Mountains through late tonight as well as a weather outlook through Sunday, Aug. 3.

.TODAY…SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE MORNING…THEN WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 80S. SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH.
