Construction activities are getting started next week on Karen Circle in White Rock and are anticipated to continue through October.
Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities’ contractor, RMCI will be upgrading and renovating a sanitary sewer lift station that services 25 customers on Karen Circle.
The project footprint is in the County right-of-way in front of properties 13 and 14 Karen Circle, where the existing lift station facility is sited. Additionally a temporary by-pass pumping system will be constructed to ensure continued sewer service to customers without interruption while the lift station is renovated.
Work is scheduled 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday unless special circumstances require anything different. Department officials advise that at night residents may hear noise coming from by-passing operations.
