How The Hen House Turns—Horse Mysteries

How the Hen House Turns—Horse Mysteries
By Cary Neeper

Horses have always puzzled me. As a child, for no good reason, I was afraid of the horse who grazed in the fields on the other side of the hill across the stream.

By Pastor Raul Granillo

A House of Hope.

In 1 Chronicles, chapter 17, we read that David is grateful for all of the things that God has done for him. In response to his love for God, David decided that he wanted to build God a permanent house. David wanted to build the temple. When he finally heard back from the prophet Nathan concerning this, instead of giving him His blessing, God tells David “No, you will not build me a house. Instead, I will build one for you.”

God had blessed David, protected David, brought victories to David, and peace to Israel through David’s leadership, and now, God wanted Read More

Pastor Granillo: Unworthy Requests

By Pastor Raul Granillo
Los Alamos

Unworthy Requests.

We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. (Daniel 9:18 NIV)

My children usually begin a request for something by making a case. If you have kids, then you know what I mean. “Dad, since Kyle had a snack, can I have one?” Or, “You let Sienna stay up late last night, I should get to tonight.” It goes to show that we struggle with understanding grace.
