Life on Mars Subject of Talk for Teens


Café Scientifique kicks off its Los Alamos Café Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Research Park Building (second floor) in Los Alamos. The program runs 7-8:30 p.m. and free food will be served at 6:45 p.m. to attending teens.

The presenter this month is Dr. Nina Lanza from Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her topic is “Are We Alone? The High Tech Search for Signs of Life on Mars.”

“Dr. Lanza has a fresh delivery style attractive to teens,” Café Scientifique spokesman Elizabeth Watson said.
