Letter To The Editor: Wrecking My Tesla S

By WALTER G. WATTS
Los Alamos

I had a serious accident Feb. 27 on Diamond Drive at the intersection of Sandia, in front of the old Metzger Service Station. I did serious damage to my 2015 Tesla S and another vehicle.

I would like to talk to anyone who witnessed the accident or observed me or my actions immediately following the accident. If you were there, I would appreciate hearing from you, I can be reached at 505.709.0025 and can receive voice or text.

There were some young men who were very helpful to myself and the driver and passenger of the vehicle I struck, that I would like to thank. If you were one of these, I would particularly like to hear from you. Due to lack of paper, pen or pencil I was not able to record names at the time of the accident and when emergency personnel began tests for injuries I was separated from what was going on.

I was not injured and the driver and passenger of the other vehicle stated that they were not.

For those of you who have an interest in either the accident or Tesla automobiles, I am willing to provide details, as I believe them, although it may take me time to answer specific questions.  Feel free to contact me in that regard also.
