Letter to the Editor: We Want To Deal With Film Crew Issues Immediately

I read with interest the recent letters to the editor about filming in Los Alamos. I would have thought the argument that economic development creating high paying jobs and opportunities for New Mexicans may cause inconvenience would not fly in Los Alamos.
 
I could argue the benefits to the County, but I’ll let the New Mexico Film office address that issue.
 
There is no excuse for bad behavior or attitude on behalf of film crews. We want to know if there are people littering, etc,. in order to deal with it immediately. It was unclear if the consensus is in favor of active traffic control or not.
We’re always happy to do whatever we can to limit our impact on the communities we work in. We will work with the Los Alamos County Film Office in every respect.
