Letter to the Editor: Thanks For Veterans Day Participation

By Ken “Lucky” Nadeau
Frank G. Frainier, Post 90 – Cmdr.
NMALR-JA
President, ALR Chapter 19

I would like to personally thank all the members of The American Legion, Frank G. Frainier Post 90; and the membership of the Fraternal Organizations of the BPOE, VFW, Knights of Columbus, and the Military Order of World Wars for their support in making the 2014 Veteran’s Day Ceremony such a success.

A very special thanks goes to the Los Alamos Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and especially Brownie Troop 10357 from White Rock who sang “Thank You Soldier’s”.

To the young adults of the LAHS Chorus and NJROTC – your involvement in this event was instrumental in creating a memory that will not soon be forgotten by me, our membership, and the community! Thank you for your professionalism and commitment. Lastly, to the community of Los Alamos, Thank You.

The American Legion was founded in 1919 with the pillars for existing in communities to support Veteran’s Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. I believe our Veteran’s Day event reflects aspects of all of those. Without your participation, approval, and engagement, we are nothing and purposeless. Thank you for your participation in our event!
