We would like to thank the community for the very warm Grand Re-Opening we had on July 2 at Bob’s Bodacious BBQ!
Acquiring the business was a long process, with the best reward at the end – the ability to continue to serve the communities of Los Alamos and White Rock.
Our family loves this area, and we are pleased to add this fabulous local business to our own family.
To that end, we would like to especially acknowledge the help and support of our County officials in making this a smooth transition.
The County officials we have worked with to acquire Bob’s Bodacious BBQ have been organized, efficient, and invested in helping us to make this transition work. Every single person we had contact with in the County offices has been a pleasure. There are multiple individuals and organizations that helped us achieve a seamless transition for business operations. Without their work and support behind the scenes, we would have had to close while everything was wrapped up.
We would like to express our appreciation especially to Fire Marshal Jeff Wetteland and Stephen Rinaldi for working with us to get the fire and safety inspection completed successfully, Chief Building Official Michael Arellano for ensuring the final inspection was approved quickly once we were in compliance, and Assistant Planner James Naranjo for assisting with documents we needed to start our bottle service license application. Michael Bencomo with the New Mexico Environmental Department in Espanola also was able to schedule the food safety inspections, so we were able to have a seamless transition.
We would also like to thank our employees, Ken Hagedorn, Andrew Colson and Jacqueline McCormick, for staying with the business and keeping us driving the right road! These first several weeks would not have been nearly as smooth without their help and suggestions.
Finally, a big thank you to Frank Good and Pamela Hushman for giving us the opportunity to purchase Bob’s Bodacious BBQ. Enjoy your retirement!
There are so many others it is impossible to name them all, but we thank you for your support and assistance in making this all come together. We look forward to continuing to serve Los Alamos and White Rock delicious BBQ for many, many years to come!
