We, the undersigned, are writing this letter to express our wholehearted admiration for Christine Bernstein in her four years of service as a school board member to the Los Alamos Public Schools. While Christine was not re-elected, we believe it is essential to highlight the remarkable contributions she made during her tenure on the school board.

Christine consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the betterment of our educational system and the welfare of our students. Her passion for education is evident in the countless hours she dedicated to understanding the complex issues facing our schools and finding innovative solutions. This includes navigation through a pandemic, replacement of a superintendent and adaptation of a school calendar mandated by the State. As a school board member, she has been an inspiring role model for youth in our community, showcasing the importance of strong leadership and dedication to public service.

One of Christine’s notable strengths lies in her ability to foster collaboration among board members, administrators, teachers, parents, and community members. She has been instrumental in creating an inclusive and open environment that encourages dialogue and ensures that diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making processes. Her leadership style has had a positive and lasting impact on the culture of our school board.

Throughout her term, Christine advocated tirelessly for the number one priority to be our students, for teacher development, and increased time and resources for our teachers. Her advocacy enhanced the overall quality of education in our district. Her commitment to providing every student with the tools needed to succeed is truly commendable.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Christine has also demonstrated exceptional personal integrity and a genuine concern for the well-being of the students of Los Alamos. Her compassion and dedication to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment have left an indelible mark on our community.

While Christine may not be returning to the school board, we are confident that her passion for education and her commitment to the community will continue to shine through in whatever endeavors she chooses to pursue.

In conclusion, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Ms. Bernstein for her selfless service and dedication to the improvement of our educational system. We are confident that her impact will be felt for years to come.

Thank you for your heartfelt service Christine!!
