Letter To The Editor: State 2021 Budget

“We don’t have a budget problem in our state — we have a spending problem in our state,” said state Rep. Candy Spence Ezzell, R-Roswell (Los Alamos Daily Post June 20, 2020 link).
Neither statement is correct.
We have an unwillingness to pay enough taxes for what we need and get in our state. Not unusual in any democracy whether wealthy or poor.
