This letter is in response to Sue Y. Conner’s letter to the editor (link).

I would not want to be treated by a HS student if I needed first aid.

While many would be able to pass the course, they seem to be unable to put their phones down; it’s always in one hand or the other.

Also, they would only be able to render 1/2 first aid needed because one eye is always looking at their phones for the next text from their friends.
