Letter To The Editor: Response To Mark Of The Kroger

I would like to thank James Rickman for his Tongue & Cheek commentary of his perilous journey to the infamous Smith’s Marketplace (link).

Pre-dating the COVID pandemic people have scoured the isles looking for … anything, and left wanting.  When people finally make their way to the checkout line it wraps somewhere back to Kazakhstan where they meet up with Mike Dempsey.

It is a good thing I have been feeding the grackles, because the shiny marbles they have been leaving me might barter for some fresh strawberries that should hit the compost pile instead of my fridge.

I would also like to take the time to thank Mike Dempsey, for enlightening us on the deeds of the Los Alamos Resiliency Environmental Sustainability Board.

It is always good to start the day enlightened, and with a smile on your face.

Thank you all.
