Letter to the Editor: Reader Takes Exception With Obama Policies

President Obama should be impeached for trampling on the U.S. Constitution he swore to uphold. According to the Constitution, one of the Federal government’s main purposes is “to provide for the common defense.” 

President Obama’s crowning crime is arranging the questionable freedom of a Taliban-held American prisoner of war in exchange for release of five high-ranking Taliban combatants, and doing so without Congressional approval, which is an impeachable offense in itself.

How many times is the President allowed to ignore the Constitution with impunity? He is not above the law. Congress should impeach him now before he completely destroys our country and the freedoms God gave us.
