As I approach my 90th birthday I have become aware of the inadequacies for the handicap in Los Alamos.
After you park in the handicap at the Municipal Bldg., you can navigate a long, empty corridor without a railing.
Fuller Lodge has two handicap spots. I do not know how few Smith Auditorium has.
After you leave your car in the handicap parking at the library and turn the corner of the building, the railing quits. Exiting the library and making a right turn on Central, there is a lone parking place that blocks the view of the pedestrian crossing.
The population of Los Alamos is aging. This needs to be considered.
