My name is Emily Hopkins, one of the Los Alamos United Way Youth Team co-chairs for 2015.

As you probably know, the United Way Youth Team of Los Alamos has been doing some great things for the community this semester, and is halfway through their campaign!

In case you did not know, United Way is a nonprofit organization that contributes to the Community Action Fund and helps to support local organizations that benefit our community.

We have two final events for this season, and we are extremely excited to present them, and hope you will be able to attend! The last two event we will be hosting are High Tea on the Hill (this coming Sunday), and Hamburger Night (Oct. 26).

We are extremely excited to present these events to you, and our producers will give you more information on their individual events. Support all of the good that United Way Youth Team does by attending and enjoying fellowship with other community members!

Thank you so much for you support, and we hope to see you this weekend!

Hello!

We are Onnolee and Zoe from the United Way Youth Team. We are super excited about the event we are organizing, called High Tea On The Hill! This event will be a great chance for tea lovers in the community to get together and talk about all things tea! The entire United Way Youth Team has been planning it and is very excited to host this tea party.

High Tea On The Hill is 1-2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 18 in the Los Alamos High School Lobby.  The theme this year is “mad hatter”, so we invite you to wear your best or silliest tea hat, and the two attendees with the best hats will each receive a teapot that has been decorated by the National Art Honors Society here at Los Alamos High School.

The admission for adults and children will both be $20. All of the profits made from this event will fund local youth programs throughout the community. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
