Letter To The Editor: Confident We Can Make Vaccination Clinics Safer

By DIANN MILLS

I agree completely with Ellen Walton’s letter (link). The drive-through vaccinations were so much safer.

Older people in frail health have been told to remain home and not to be around groups of people, but the vaccination clinic put everyone in a group setting, socially distanced, but still near lots of others for up to an hour.

That would make me uncomfortable after all the time I have stayed home and kept socially isolated.

Maybe split the clinic into several sites in addition to drive-through? I know the kind people running the vaccination clinics really care and I’m confident we can make the clinics safer for everyone.
