As you are likely aware, our locally owned and operated ski area is at risk of being given away to the County of Los Alamos or sold to a private enterprise due to a multitude of reasons.
A concerned group of members of the Ski Club have created a website to inform and engage the rest of the community as to an alternate option that may allow Pajarito Mountain to remain locally owned and operated. The website address is www.savepajarito.com.
Anyone interested in keeping our 750-acre playground accessible to future generations is encouraged to access the website, answer the survey and stay informed of upcoming events. Also, the next General Meeting of the Los Alamos Ski Club is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at The Christian Church, 92 East Road.
