By ROBERT VISELNo sooner do we hear about the school shooting in Florida then the Liberals start playing the “Blame Game” and gun control groups scream for “Common Sense” gun laws.
“Common Sense gun laws”. That’s all you anti-gun politicians and gun control fanatics ever say you want.
Just what is your definition of “Common Sense”?
To me “Common Sense” is if you don’t know anything about guns don’t try to be an authority when talking about them or trying to pass laws restricting them. The “AR” in the AR-15 does NOT mean Assault Rifle it stands for “Arma Lite” and it is NOT a “Machine Gun”. So educate yourself before you try to ban guns or pass more ineffective gun control laws.
“Common Sense” means quit attacking the gun, which is just a tool, and go after the person (or people) responsible for the violence.
Enforce the laws that already exist.
Lock up the Felons in possession of firearms for life with no parole. Elect Judges that aren’t soft on criminals and are willing to punish the perpetrators harshly and with lengthy prison sentences.
Bring back the Death Penalty and execute the worthless scum plaguing our streets and quit giving them the luxurious accommodations of prison life paid for by hard earned American tax dollars.
“Common Sense” is to understand that a sign (“GUN FREE ZONE”) won’t stop a killer who intends to do as much damage as possible.
“Common Sense” is to arm and train all the teachers and faculty in every school in the country. Savages don’t obey “gun-free zones” but they LOVE to use them for target practice. Arm at least 6 well-trained teachers at every school to help put an end to this MADNESS!
“Common Sense” is to quit spoiling and pampering your kids and teach them that life is tough, and things will not always go their way. Have more programs at home and school to end bullying and abuse.
“Common Sense” is to address Mental Illness in this country. Legislators need to increase funding for programs to help those suffering from mental problems.
“Common Sense” is to wall off our southern border. Quit letting people in that mean to do us harm. Round up all the Gang Members and people here illegally and send them back where they came from.
“Common Sense” is to be allowed the ability (right) to defend the lives and property of myself, my family, and others.
Then there is the big one – to “Ban All Guns”! Like it or not the United States has a strong gun culture supported by the Second Amendment. A total ban on guns would only punish the law-abiding gun owners and do absolutely nothing to curb the violence we see in this country. Outlawing guns just creates a higher demand for them. Even if it were possible to erase guns from existence, violence would continue.
When a police officer shoots an unarmed man, you blame the police officer. When a horrific school massacre occurs, you blame the gun. Please explain this logic.
Violence isn’t going to go away by constantly screaming for more useless laws and there is no “Common Sense” in the gun laws you keep demanding.
If you want people to take you seriously quit using fake and exaggerated stories and statistics to support your argument for gun control.
Every time there’s another shooting you all get out and demand the Government take action and pass these so-called “Common Sense” gun laws yet you never come up with any real specific solutions that have any merit.
Always demanding for “Common Sense” gun laws does absolutely nothing to solve the problem! Instead of constantly crying and screaming out for more laws that either won’t work or already exist why don’t you come up with some real solutions?
So, before you all submit more senseless opinions about “Common Sense” gun laws why don’t you spend some time and come up with real viable solutions to the problem.
