I am writing to strongly endorse Christine Chandler’s candidacy for State Representative in District 43. Christine exemplifies the experience, values and priorities that we need in this position to make a positive difference for the people of New Mexico.
I have known Christine for over 20 years and first became familiar with her work through the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos. Her extensive experience with the County Council, including her current position as vice-chair, as well as her work as a legislative analyst for the State Legislature makes her the most qualified candidate in our district.
Christine also possesses the values that we need in our legislature as we try to move our state in a positive direction. Christine values diversity and inclusion and treats everyone she encounters with courtesy and respect. She always operates with honesty and integrity, never out of political expediency.
When elected, Christine’s’ actions and objectives in the legislature will reflect the needs and priorities of the citizens of New Mexico, especially those that are most vulnerable to the whims of career politicians. Christine will make early child education a top priority and will work to improve the lives of children, the elderly and other disadvantaged and under-represented groups in our state.
Early voting starts May 8, or you can go to the polls for the primary election June 5. I will be demonstrating my commitment to improving the quality of life for all citizens in New Mexico by casting my vote for Christine Chandler for State Representative in the 43rd District.
Our participation in the democratic process is critical to defining our future, and this is true for elections at every level. Here in Los Alamos County and the state of New Mexico we are fortunate to have some truly outstanding candidates for whom to cast our ballot. Get out and vote!
