Bradbury Science Museum was open after hours to host Aspen families for a night of science and fun from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1.
The evening activities included hands-on learning, a scavenger hunt, and door prizes. Families were also given the opportunity to order commemorative T-shirts to mark the occasion.
Approximately 125 people attended the event organized by Aspen’s Community Outreach Team.
“We are fortunate to have a local museum dedicated to sharing the mission and history of Los Alamos National Laboratory. Tonight, Aspen students and their families discovered just how exciting science can be,” said Heather Coy, sixth grade teacher at Aspen.
Aspen would like to say thank you to ALL who attended Aspen Family Night at the Bradbury.
Outreach Team leader Ashley Merhege would like to thank Time Out Pizza for offering families attending Aspen Family Night at the Bradbury a 10% discount on pizza, stating, “This was so fun! It was a pleasure working with the Bradbury Science Museum staff and Time Out Pizza to provide our families a fun and educational night.”
