Letter To The Editor: Amazed At How Wonderful People In Los Alamos Can Be

I’m amazed at how wonderful people in Los Alamos can be.

Wednesday, Aug. 26, my two really small beige colored dogs escaped. Of course they headed straight to Canyon Road.

As I was turning east at the corner of 15th and Canyon, a kind gentleman in a large white delivery van saw my dilemma and stopped his van to block westbound traffic. As I turned onto Canyon someone in a small red stopped to block eastbound traffic. I was able to maneuver my car so I could lure my dogs to me.

It may seem like a small thing, but to me it was a wonderful help. I don’t their names but they know who they are. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!  I hate to think of what might have happened if not for their help.

 A thanks to the gal in the brown pickup who got out to “herd” the dogs to me. Good karma will be coming to all of you!
