Letter To The Editor: A Century Link Problem

Are you paying for DSL WiFi from Century Link? Are you receiving the download speed you are paying for? I’m not! I am paying for 20 mbps but falling short.

I do not use wired internet access within my home. All my access is wireless. My internal WiFi data speed is 144 mbps.

I have measured the actual download speed from Century Link as varying from 9 mbps-13 mbps over several days using Hewlett Packard’s speed test, the OOKLA speed test and the FCC’s (Federal Communication Commision) speed test. Not close to 20 mbps is it?

I urge everyone with Century Link DSL service to check their download speed!. We should get what we are paying for, shouldn’t we?
