REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (“RFP”)

RFP NAME: BMX Track Design-Build
This is a design-build project, the design-build team shall include, a state licensed engineer or architect, and a contractor properly licensed in New Mexico for the type of work required.
This solicitation will be conducted in two (2) phases:
Phase I will consist of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a State Licensed Engineer or Architect teamed with a State Licensed Contractor. It shall include minimum qualifications, a scope of work statement and schedule, documents defining the project requirements, and a description of the phase two requirements and subsequent management needed to bring the project to completion.
Phase II; the short-listed persons shall be invited to submit proposal which include a “rough order of magnitude estimate, concepts or solutions, and scheduling. After evaluations of these submissions, selection may be made, and a contract awarded to the highest ranked team for the design and construction of the project upon the site identified.
Only one of the following submission methods is required:
Sealed Proposals in one (1) clearly labeled unbound original and four (4) bound paper copies (if submitting in paper form), subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Proposers and in the other Solicitation Documents, will be received at the Office of the Los Alamos County Purchasing Agent, 101 Camino Entrada, Bldg. 3, Los Alamos, NM 87544 until 2:00 p.m. MT, Thursday, April 15, 2021 for this solicitation.
Considering the current COVID-19 (corona virus) outbreak, until further notice, the following procedure is in effect: Proposals may also be submitted electronically by email in pdf format. All other requirements stated in the Solicitation Document remain in effect. Emails should be addressed to: lacbid@lacnm.us. No Proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals.
