Learn Fly Fishing Basics Saturday At Ashley Pond

Learn the basics of fly-fishing this weekend with local fly fisherman Jim O’Donnell. The Pajarito Environmental Education Center is offering this class 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 25 at Ashley Pond.
 
O’Donnell will teach the group the mechanics behind proper fly-fishing, including how to tie a fishing knot and cast a line. This class is suitable for both children and adults. Participants are welecome to bring their fly rod and reel. PEEC has some gear to lend participants.
 
Registration is required for this class and space is limited. The cost is $12 per person for PEEC members and $15 per person for non-members.
