Law Enforcement Torch Run For Special Olympics

LAPD News:

The Los Alamos Police Department will be running the torch to Jemez Springs to raise money and awareness for Special Olympic athletes in Los Alamos and New Mexico.

This is the 51st year of Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Run that occurs each May.

LAPD will begin shorlty after 7 a.m. Thursday running the torch about 42 milesto Jemez Springs. There will be minor traffic delays at about 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Trinity Drive and West Jemez Road as runners mke their way out of Los Alamos.
