Are you passionate about improving healthcare services? Do you have a desire to contribute your expertise and leadership skills? Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service is looking for committed individuals to join its esteemed Board of Directors.
Board members play a crucial role in shaping and guiding the LAVNS organization’s strategic direction. Board members’ insights and contributions will directly impact the quality of healthcare services LAVNS provide to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Board members to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Provide oversight and governance to ensure the organization’s mission is fulfilled.
- Participate actively in Board meetings, committee work, and fundraising efforts.
- Advocate for the needs of patients and the community LAVNS serves.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Expertise in healthcare, finance, law, marketing, or nonprofit management is highly desirable.
- Previous experience serving on a board or committee is a plus.
Term: Board members serve a term of three years, allowing for continuity and long-term impact.
