Last Day To Vote Los Alamos High For Vans Competition

Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Vans Marketing and Design Club needs your vote to win $50,000 for the art program.

Voting is open until 6 p.m. TODAY ONLY.

Collaborating ideas with sophomore Sophia Buckman and seniors Amelia Duffy and Kaisa Drew, seniors Kara Moss, Jillian Puckett and Kari Mason designed and painted this year’s Van’s Custom Culture Shoes.  

“I am really impressed with the students cooperative spirit and incredible work ethic,” club sponsor Mary Grace said “Their boundless creativity is a given, but their commitment to their message really paid off as they made it into the national final 50” 

Artists’ Statement: “Our past is a part of who we are. Our present is what we have learned, and our futures are the discoveries, both here and beyond.”

Vans High School Custom Culture is a national competition created to inspire and empower high school students to embrace their creativity through art and design while bringing attention to arts education. 

Grand prize is $50,000 for the art program!
