CLERK’S OFFICE News:
Today, Friday, Feb. 1, is the last day to cast a pre-election day vote or get an absentee ballot at the County Clerk’s Office.
The Clerk’s Office is across from the Reel Deal Movie Theater, in the modular office directly behind the Demo Garden on Central Avenue at Oppenheimer Drive.
The actual voting day and last day to turn in absentee ballots is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Community Building in Los Alamos and at the Los Alamos County Fire Station in White Rock.

Friday, Feb. 1 is when Absentee/Early Voting Ends
This is the last day the County Clerk can mail an Absentee Ballot to the voter. The voter must submit the request to the County Clerk on this form.
LAPS/UNMLA Board Election
Monday, Feb. 4 is last day to cast a replacement Absentee Ballot in the Office of the County Clerk.
LAPS/UNMLA Board Election
Tuesday, Feb. 5 is Election Day
Absentee Ballots must be physically received in the Office of the County Clerk by 7 p.m.
LAPS/UNMLA Board Election
Thursday, Feb. 7 Canvass
Election Results will be Canvassed @ 2:30 p.m. in the Office of the County Clerk.
