Last Council Meeting of 2012 is Tuesday
Council Chair Sharon Stover and Councilors Mike Wismer and Vincent Chiravalle will say “good-bye” when the meeting convenes at 7 p.m., Tuesday (Council Chambers inside the Community Building in Los Alamos.) Newly Elected Officials Get Sworn In Friday
New Councilors Kristin Henderson, Steve Girrens and Pete Sheehey will take the oath of office at 10 a.m., Dec. 21 at the Justice Center (Municipal Courtroom), along with new County Clerk Sharon Stover. The public is welcome to attend. A reception will be held in the lobby immediately following the ceremony – stop by and wish these individuals “good luck” as they begin their public service!

Holiday Collection and Eco Station Hours
Dec. 24: Eco Station closes at 1 pm.
Dec. 25: Eco Station closed. No trash or recycling collection. If Tuesday is your normal pickup day please put out your trash and recycling by 8 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 26.
Jan. 1: Eco Station closed. No Trash or recycling collection. If Tuesday is your normal pickup day please put out your trash and recycling by 8 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 2.

Atomic City Transit Bus Schedules During the Holidays
ACT buses will not operate Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) or Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 (New Year’s Day). AM and PM enhanced service will not operate Dec. 24 through Dec. 31. Full service resumes on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
